Here is the apathy seen about this ! This area used to be one the most places I respect in Tripoli !
The red building over there is known as a very posh italian resturant called Morena ... last time I been here was on my 18th Birthday which was two years ago yet yesterday I went there and this is what I saw !!
Since we are moving towards new Libya ... we decided to start construction ?? And because in order to start any project you have to have :
- A research and analysis phase
- A design for a plan and its safety
- A project time line for implementation
Translating it in Libyan words means ... Create a cliff ... for more victums to suffer ... free open entertaiment for sociedal children ... internesting sightseeing view ... for an oil rich country !!
sadly the resturant has been doing worst since then !! as it is hard for cars to park .. the clif looks like it was made by earthquake yet sadly it was made by irresponsible descions !!
I have digged into the story ... seven men had died in the work site !! as well as two childreen ??
My question was ... was that made this week ??? as this area is only blocks a way and its known as how posh it is ... but ..... Sadly this seen was created last october and still there till today !!

it is a sad sad situation but whats even sadder is that its happening all over, the come and they dig a hole in the middle of the street then just forget about it!!!!
I know the area very well as we live not far from there and the Morena restaurant is one of my favourite places to eat in Tripoli
Although I understand where you are coming from but, development does not happen with a day or two and people need to be patient but there are limits and i pray and hope that all the promises are not just "empty promises" and Libya will move forward insha allah
